Connect Your Email
Purpose: Connecting your email lets you send messages and sync conversations with contacts directly from Sure Send. All your email activity will appear on contact timelines.
Before You Begin
You'll need:
- Access to your email account (Gmail or Outlook)
- Permission to grant Sure Send access to send and read emails
Note: This email connection is different from any Google or Microsoft account used to sign in. This connection is specifically for sending and syncing emails.
Connect Gmail
- Click Settings in the left navigation menu.
- Select Email Settings.
- Under Gmail Connection, click Connect Gmail.
- Complete the Google authentication flow in the popup window.
- Grant Sure Send permission to send and read emails.
- You'll be returned to Email Settings automatically.
Once connected, you'll see "Email Inbox Connected" with your email address and last sync time.
Connect Outlook
- Click Settings in the left navigation menu.
- Select Email Settings.
- Under Outlook Connection, click Connect Outlook.
- Complete the Microsoft authentication flow in the popup window.
- Grant Sure Send permission to send and read emails.
- You'll be returned to Email Settings automatically.
Share Emails with Team (Optional)
You can choose whether your email conversations appear on contact timelines for your team to see.
- In Email Settings, locate the Share emails with team toggle.
- Turn on to make your sent and received emails visible on contact timelines to other team members.
- Turn off to keep your email conversations private.
Tip: Most teams keep this on so everyone has full context on contact communications. Turn it off only if you handle sensitive conversations that shouldn't be visible to the team.
